Where there’s a market, our species will always beg, steal, or borrow to fill it. Too little…too late…sport. There is no stopping the human animal. We offer the planet absolutely nothing and demand everything from it. F our species!

His assumption at the end that computers will make humans redundant is terrifying rhetoric. Computers make our lives easier and they do not make us redundant, but some of the jobs redundant. Also, his assumption that there are too many people on the planet (again, terrifying rhetoric and ideology - arguably worse than Hitler) is factually incorrect. Many leading nations are verging on a population collapse. The opposite of Harari's overpopulation assumptions.

Trouble here, is the capitalist exploiters will use this as a cover for chasing down rebels who refuse to participate in a narcissistic dynamic and bend to the will of an overlord.

I just lost my little family. She looked my dead in the eyes and said “I’m not your girl anymore”. That hurt so so bad. I feel alone and scared. Scared that I’ll lose the war with the darkness in my head. I have yet to watch this video. I’m not done fighting for her, but it’s very hard to get back up after every blow. Im reading around and it’s nice to know I’m not alone. I fear I won’t let go of the future we had planned. I’m so sure for once in my life, that she’s the one & I don’t want to give up on the love of my life. Even though she just refers to me as a chapter in her life.

RF is just a subset of the electromagnetic spectrum, the carrier wave/particle of which is the photon. This is just more complicated solar. It needs a serious cost/benefit analysis versus other forms of solar energy. I suspect that the cost of development of the technology, testing, and deployment to space would be a greater cost than deploying ground based solar for the same energy collected.

yes the cost of development is greater, but the lifetime energy capture is also greater

Seriously? Fucking American military will tell me about bad evil people from poor, oppressed countries by America, who harm nature? Nothing that they just survive in the hellish conditions that you created for them?! He also says that they need data on movements! - Only for the protection of nature! - Yes Yes! People are really stupid if they buy it.

Is it unethical to some degree, probably. Was this TED talk one sided and lacking, yes. Seeing how someone acts and behaves when they experience a challenge is supposed to be a very good metric for how they will react to new hardships that arise. College essays, interview questions, etc, are a proxy to that. How good of a proxy I have no clue, but as the speaker the fact you made no mention of that is unfortunate. In other words, it would be nice to see some data regarding the performance of students who had put a sob story in their essay versus equivalent students who didn't. If, and I'm not sure there will be but colleges certainly think, there is a strong positive correlation, then your argument is very naive. It's still naive since you made no mention of it, but it would be much more naive if that were true.

Dear Honorable Prime Minister, Chief Justice, and Chairman Imran Khan, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I, Rashid Ullah, a 2nd year MBBS student residing in KPK, Lower Dir Munda, am writing to bring your attention to a matter of utmost importance and urgency concerning the well-being and unjust imprisonment of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani national currently serving an 86-year sentence in the United States. Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, a daughter of our beloved nation, was unjustly convicted of attempted murder and other felonies in 2010. However, there is widespread concern and doubt about the fairness of her trial, and **many believe that she is innocent of the charges brought against her**. Her case has garnered significant international attention and has become a symbol of **injustice and human rights violations**. It is disheartening to learn about Dr. Siddiqui's **deteriorating health condition**. Reports indicate that she is suffering from various physical and mental health issues, and her situation demands **immediate attention and intervention**. As fellow human beings and citizens of Pakistan, it is our moral duty to stand up for justice and ensure the well-being of our fellow countrymen. Therefore, I kindly request your **urgent intervention** in this matter. I appeal to the Pakistani government, the honorable Chief Justice, and the esteemed Chairman of PTI to use your influential positions and diplomatic channels to address this issue at the highest levels. I urge you to make every possible effort to **secure the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui from her unjust incarceration in the United States**. Furthermore, I kindly request your assistance in conveying our concerns and demands to the United States government. It is crucial that we seek the cooperation and support of the American authorities in **facilitating the immediate release of Dr. Siddiqui, considering her declining health and the humanitarian aspect of her case**. I trust in your commitment to justice, human rights, and the well-being of every Pakistani citizen. Your proactive involvement in this matter can bring hope and relief to Dr. Aafia Siddiqui and her family, and it will serve as a testament to Pakistan's unwavering dedication to **protecting its citizens' rights**. Thank you for your attention to this **urgent matter**. I kindly request a prompt response and action on behalf of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. May justice prevail, and may we stand united in the pursuit of truth and compassion. Yours sincerely, Rashid Ullah

I understand the fisherman in NK are doing illegal fishing. And many of them are starving and dying. But they’re doing it because their people are starving and dying by the millions under a brutal regime. Now that you reduced illegal fishing by 75% all you did was force more people to starve and die to save some fish. I don’t see that as a victory. Sure ecosystems and fisheries are important. But not at the expense of human suffering. All you did was satisfy your perceived morality. And like a typical liberal you did it with a human cost. It made you feel good but did it actually do good?

This focus on "trauma" especially among minorities is meant to start their indoctrination into a mode of thinking they are nothing but victims. Once they believe they are nothing but victims and can only ever be victims, they are easily turned into political pawns.

5:23 "this number expressed in the relevant unites is spectacularly small" No, it's just a silly way to write a very small number. Also, what is the unit anyway? Or is that a ratio? Loud shwoosh effects above the narrator's voice is one thing, but this is just a lousy presentation of an otherwise very interesting topic.
